Wow. It actually looks and tastes like a pancake. Win of the day!

1/2 cup old fashioned oats 1/4 cup cottage cheese 5 egg whites* 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tbsp ground flax seed 1/2 tbsp cinnamon** 1/4ish tsp honey***
Combine all ingredients and blend well. Make pancakes as usual (these are a little more delicate.)

I’m topping mine with defrosted blueberries. I like it because it makes a kind of syrup when they defrost. I used to do that all the time with my granola.
Notes: *if you want you could do some egg whites, some whole eggs. It would act as a better binder. **would definitely add more next time ***basically I dipped a spoon into the honey pot and let some drizzle out

Recipe makes 1 serving (3-4 pancakes)

I basically crave pancakes all the time now but Im to stingy to use my calories for them! This seems like a good trade for the calories and the serving size. I think Im gonna try to make these this weekend.

Just made this! (I didn’t have flax seed though, so I omitted that.) And WOW, SO GOOD! I sprayed some I Can’t Believe it’s Not Butter spray on it and topped with sugar free syrup. It was super easy and definitely takes care of pancake cravings! Definitely going to be a new regular dish for me :)

Press your back against a wall with your legs bent at a 90-degree angle, as if you are sitting in a chair. Hold this position for 25-1min depending on your level. Repeat. Make sure you knees stay right above your ankles

oh wow well done :D well in the past year i've lost 4 stone haha cause i used to be preeeeeetty fat. i'm at about 170 right now but i don't really have a goal weight as i don't know what i'd look like, so i'm just gonna keep going until i'm happy :) my aim isn't to be skeletal or anything, just fit and healthy! i eat really healthy and i joined myfitnesspal too, it says i should eat around 1200 or something but i always manage to eat less :/ i do a workout dvd called Davina Body Buff but once the weather improves i'm gonna start running xxx

I completely agree, I definitely don’t want to be skeletal either at all, just more toned and healthy :) How do you like the dvd? I’ve been looking to get one

Hey! We have similar stats, but I'm an inch taller and a few pounds less, but we have the same general goal weight! :) So hard to find tall people..

I agree! That’s awesome that we have similar stats :) I love being tall, but my least favorite part is definitely that weight loss is a LOT less visible, you know? I see before and afters of girls that are like 5’2, lose 10 pounds, and look like a completely different person. I barely see a difference when I lose 10! Haha

hi i saw that you're 5'9"/5'10" and losing weight. my blog isn't really a weight loss blog even though i do mention sometimes about my diet/exercise. it's just that i'm 5'10" and it's difficult to come across people of a similar height so i was wondering what your goals are etc. hope it's all going well for you :) xxx

i know what you mean! it’s hard to find other tall girls haha :) i went from 160-150 the past maybe 7 months or so just from eating better and working out more. the past 2-3 months though i’ve really started changing my eating habits and exercise routine. my goal is to get to 135, i joined myfitnesspal.com about a month ago and it’s really helped :) you can track all your food and it tells you how much you should to lose a certain amount of weight. typically i run about 3.5 miles 4-5 times a week, and eat around 1500 calories, usually a bit more though. i think i’m going to try to lower that a little and see if i get some faster results because i’ve been at 150 for the past month or so. how about you dear?
